Kathy Allen

My name is Kathy Allen. I am the principal at North Cumberland Elementary. I have a B. A. degree in Elementary Education, a M. A. degree in Administration and Supervision, and an Ed. S degree in Curriculum From Tennessee Tech University.

I have 22 years of teaching experience. I have taught 6th grade Language Arts and 7th grade Science. I was assistant principal at Brown Elementary School.

My goal is to make North Cumberland Elementary the best that it can be. My plan to do this is for everyone to work together as a team. The faculty and staff at NCE are very dedicated, and caring people. They play a major role in the daily lives of our students.

North Cumberland Elementary School's mission is to positively engage students in a safe and consistent environment so they will show learning gains each year.

Crossville has been my home since 1979, and this year I started my 33rd year in the educational field, 12 years as a teacher and 21 years as a counselor and administrator. My wife, Sandi, teaches 3rd grade at South Cumberland. Our children are all grown now(ages 21, 25, and 29 years old), and all of them received their education here in the Cumberland County School System. We feel very blessed to have raised our family in the Crossville area. North Cumberland is full of great kids, parents, teachers and support personnel and I am looking forward to a wonderful year as we all work together to make this a great school.
